Rolls-Royce Ghost: caught on camera
You weren't supposed to see this for a few more weeks, but a promotional video for the new Rolls-Royce Ghost has escaped onto the internet and, well, we felt it our duty to pass it on to you.
The Ghost - which will be formally unveiled at the Frankfurt show next month - will be the smallest Rolls in the line-up, but still monumentally quick: it's powered by a turbocharged 6.6-litre V12 producing 563bhp, and will hit 60mph in 4.7 seconds.
Admittedly the video is a slightly cheesy affair, but forgive Rolls its enthusiasm - it's a great chance to see the Ghost out on the road and get a sense of the size of the thing. It's hardly petite, is it?

If he worked for say Aston Martin or Ferrari. He would have the best job in the world. Well besides Top Gear presenter. But probably the only Rolls Ive ever liked.

Lovely car but 1 main problem with buying the Ghost, just imagine what will happen when a guy next to you at the lights has a Phantom your going to be like OOOOH NO

nice. But i was expecting something special, but it is just a squished phantom, is there much point. More sales i suppose, but this isn't like rolls-royce this is a cheaper smaller car, rollers are supposed to be massive and expensive.

Best BMW/Rolls ever it's not as terribly imposing as Phantom and good on them for putting the Drophead's extended aluminum bonnet to windshield, I think they should keep this as trademark for future Rollers. Keep on " wafting ".

I'm torn on this. I wouldn't say it's at all ugly, BUT...I don't like the small grille much. In the photo it almost looks like a sticker put over the front end and like the Mulsanne, almost makes it look like a far-eastern fake. Suppose that's what you get when you make a mini-Roller though, you get a mini-grille too. Biggest thing this car does, tbh, is to make me like the Phantom all the more...

i dont know old rolls royce cars were something everyone wanted but these days their styling is a bit iffy. its too retro and too square and them headlights are not defined clearly enough. besides if its a superb ride quality your after the citroen c6 has superb suspension which should be better than that in rolls royces

*cringe* The people who care about the preformance figures are generally to poor to afford it...or American rappers. *onset of nausea* Thankfully in South Africa the people who can afford either the Ghost, Phantom, Drophead or Coupe have the prevailent good sense not to chrome every surface. Even though the video oozes gouda I still stand by my original opinion when the Ghost was known only as the 200EX. At least it is less embarrasing than a Phantom at a McDonalds Drive Through.

A marvelous car with abundant power reserves. However, it just doesn't have the presence of the Phantom sedan. I would gladly pay the extra $200,000 and buy the Phantom
