Citroen GT Prologue
Citroen's GT concept marked
not only a show-stealing turn by the manufacturer, but also a ground-breaking
hook-up with a console game.
Citroen and the PlayStation hit title Gran Turismo
worked closely on developing the car, which you can now download via the
PlayStation Network as part of the new Prologue Spec III update.
This may all sound a bit too geeky for us here at
Top Gear, but we 'drove' the GT on the show floor at Paris, and so can say that
the update is well worth getting.
Not only that, but as well as the Citroen you'll
also be able to add Ferrari's jaw-dropping California and Lotus' new Evora to
your Gran Turismo garage.
Those three cars seem enough of a reason to us, but
you'll also get some other in-game updates such as increased prize amounts for
events and improved controllability when using a wireless controller, as well
as some other stuff.
Which apparently is good.
The full Gran Turismo 5 is still slated for a 2009
release, which these Prologue updates are only increasing our appetite for it.
And that's surely the point.
