Honda Insight news - Insightful - 2008

Honda’s been talking about its Insight family hybrid for a while now, and finally it’s released a picture.

And here it is!

Its looks haven’t got us super excited, but the Toyota Prius rival is posing an interesting proposition for eco-conscious buyers, and at £15k it’s even more tantalising.

Expect Leonardo Dicaprio et al to have one of these petrol-electric cars parked on their Hollywood mansions early next year.

The Insight will debut at the Detroit motor show next January.

But here at Top Gear, we’re much more excited about the planned follow-up CR-Z that Honda says it’s planning to launch.

And we’re hoping that it’ll get this FC Sport Design on the go too. Although hopefully with a better name.
