Admittedly, this isn't the greatest video. Not for petrolheads anyway. But it is a decent way to view the new Jaguar XKR-S in all its 542bhp bright blue glory.
You'll see that, shorn of its static press picture chains, the new Jag is a rather delightful looking monument; a fine addition to the legends of joyously corrective steering input.
You'll have to pay attention to get even a whiff of the 501b ft of torque persuading the rear tyres into action (damn you, pretentious soundtrack!), but listen carefully at 1m 33s and, well, it's good.
Over the XKR, it's got a new version of the adaptive dynamics suspension, a new active sports exhaust, a new spoiler, bigger brakes and will hit 62mph from zero in just 4.2 seconds.

Yet another world class product from Jaguar, ive always been a Jag nut...anything british really but Jags have always held a special place for me....this has just knocked the Vantage V12 off the top of my list......did i just say that out loud?Fortunately my local dealership does both so maybe ill buy one of each? i must say it looks incredible in blue as well!
