If you’re a regular visitor to these parts, you’ll know that we are unashamed in our appreciation of rally hoonmeister Ken Block, the Impreza-thrashing loon who terrified James May in the last series of Top Gear.
For his latest video, Block has teamed up with American pro skateboarder Rob Dyrdek for a head-to-head battle. Well, more of a head-to-kneecap battle.
It’s not quite the drift-fest of Block’s previous Gymkhana efforts, but so long as you bear in mind that it’s all a bit tongue-in-cheek – it’s a cheery enough way to wile away a few minutes when you should be, y’know, working and stuff.
Just one question: is that close shave around the two-minute mark as close as it looks? If so, that Dyrdek chap is a brave fella…
Big Block, small Block
Our mate Ken teams up with pro skater Rob Dyrdek for a little-vs-large rally battle…

I'm still missing the Cupholder blog... But anyway, Ken is great! Is there ANYTHING he can't do with a Subaru? (Except make dinner, obviously - though I wouldn't put it past him)

A great parody of himself. and some breathtaking closeness!! Epic. Only one of those Scooby's was prepared by Crawford Performance though, I'm guessing!

ken seems to have made a reason why i'd prefer an impreza to an evo X, when he drives them they make sense (and personally the paint, sound and scoops work for me

In all actuality Ken did not just get close to hitting Rob. On Rob's tv series, "Rob Dyrdek's Fantasy Factory", they show Ken sliding into Rob's kart and bending the rear axle, that last fist pound is done with a crippled go kart.
