Gissa Kiz’
This is the Suzuki Kizashi, the sports saloon from the firm more famous for teeny city cars and lazer-quick motorcycles.
Pronounced 'Kee-Zah-Shee' (bless you), it has a 2.4-litre four-cylinder engine with a CVT gearbox and looks more like a premium German product than a scratchy Japanese cheapo-box. It has independent multi-link rear suspension and four-wheel-drive capability, too.
There are even plans to make it a hybrid - engineers are working on that as we speak. Unless they're on a quick tea break.
There's some bad news, though. The car has been made with the US in mind and Suzuki is being coy about bringing it to the UK. However, it did hint that - if the time was right - we might get it.
Considering the car has already been developed at the Nurburgring and on some cobbled streets around England, we'd be surprised if it didn't make it to our humble little land.
What do you reckon? It's cooler than a Jimny, eh?

Hang on, this Is a mid-sized Suzuki saloon, there's only one important question here: IS IT REASONABLY PRICED???

I want this car to be good. The concepts were all very good looking, and while this is clearly quite watered down, it is indeed a handsome thing. Besides, when a Japanese car with AWD is tested and developed on the Nürburgring, it usually ends up pretty fast.

A 4 cylinder sports saloon?!? Nah come on. At least a V6 with a Turbocharger. Sorry but no.

Seems to have borrowed a couple of headlights from the new Volvo SUV.

Not bad looking, Suzuki seem to have improved in the car design department. The SX4 hatch seems a bit pointless and was probably just done for rallying but the saloon version of it looks rather good, perhaps it will be the next reasonably priced car?

this is quite a pointless car. we have all these 'new' car companies making big luxury cars eg hyundai, kia, sizuki and the truth is that mercedes and bmw still are better cars. when someone is going to spend the amount of money a big car costs they will want it made from an experienced car company who has made that type of car for some time. its the reason the peugeot 605 was never a big hit because it was peugeot trying to start into the executive segment

JOHNJOE your comment is pointless. Suzuki is not going after the BMW or Mercedes with the Kizashi. Yes they are better cars but you pay twice as much for them. Take the Kizashi for what it is, A very well built and performing car that will stand on its own in its target segment. Now sit down and shut up.

Laser is spelt with an 'S'. But if the Suzuki Swift Sport is anything to go by, then this should be quite good.
