It's that time of year again. That time when, unnecessarily early in the year, Lamborghini unveils its traditionally hideous collection of Christmas goodies.
In previous years we've seen some thoroughly unpleasant tat emerging from Sant'Agata - those luminous orange Christmas tree decorations will live long in the memory, despite our best attempts to erase them with alcohol, trephination and therapy - but this year is different. Oh yes.
This year Lamborghini has created a range of limited edition candles and ceramic baubles inspired by the Gallardo Balboni. Which means they're very much like conventional candles and ceramic baubles, but far more oversteery and expensive.
Where your conventional four-wheel-drive candles and baubles trade a little of their wiry-edged feedback for more predictability and safety in the wet, these Balboni mementos are genuine track specials: far pointier, more aggressive specimens only to be tackled by the genuine Yuletide specialist.
They're... OK, they're tat. Sheer, shameless tat.
Thankfully Top Gear would never stoop to such levels of brand dilution. Which is why we can highly recommend you put the Stig Draught Excluder and Richard Hammond Fridge-Freezer Combo to the top of your Christmas wish list this year...
Give your Christmas tree some oversteer!
Lamborghini shows off its range of Yuletide gifts, including a set of Balboni ceramic baubles. No, really…

;D Hahha i think they look quite.. okay, but blue and white? Why..? I mean i like the look, but why? On a lambo? Never seen a blue lambo... :) Other then that i guess the only reason to buy those ornaments is to just get them for fun, can't really show off with christmas ornaments.. In fact, is there one christmas ornament which is really COOL? :) Allthough, assuming you have a ladyfriend over for the eavning, i'm sure she won't be impressed by some Lamborghini candles <_< especially if you tell her it's lambo candles.:)

Hooray! Perfect! In my room, it's always Christmas, and I was looking for some "funky" decorations. Now I've found them! Brilliant!

Ask Lamborghini to send you a sample and sell it on eBay. Children in need, y'know.

I really hope that stuff is all HAND MADE in Italy like the cars. Otherwise it's just junk with a nice brand on the label... like most clothing that's sold in the world today. And AlKim, just think of all the taxes that the people who buy Lamborghini's(and all expensive cars) pay. There's your charity dollars right there.

this is shameless marketing, slimy shameless marketing, however if they make enough money on marketing, perhaps their cars will improve.
