Some cars are like Mission: Impossible II - lots of blowing up and explosions and rat-a-tat dialogue. Corvette ZR1, take a bow.
Others are like an Ingmar Bergman film; high concept, sublime and provoking. This Lancia Stratos promises much of that, only with added explosions.

This is because it builds on a rather awesome heritage (the original Stratos of the 70s), features one of the best chassis ever made (Ferrari F430), and looks the nuts.
We first got wind of this little beaut' last month, and now we've got video of the one-off V8-engined supercar as it attempts a spinning class. And by spinning, we mean getting nailed.
Ex-F1 driver Tiago Monteiro is the man piloting the Stratos and then trying to explain what he feels. Then there are some spanners involved.
It's expected to make an Official debut next month, but for now, watch Clarkson with a 'Stratos', and this...

Alright, I'll be the first to say it: Gimme, gimme, gimme! This is, imo, the best looking new car of the decade. I just wish it'd be affordable. Lancia was never about being expensive, just about being stylish.
