Lincoln MKR

Lincoln, Ford's luxury brand in the US, has been quiet as a mouse in carpet slippers for the past few years.

But its MKR concept showed that the marque is still alive and kicking. And, by the looks of that giant split grill, back to reclaim its lost limelight.

The MKR is a four-door saloon with all the trimmings - this is meant to be Ford's flagship brand, after all.

It's also the showcase for Ford's newest engine: a twin-turbo 3.5-litre V6. Believe it or not, that's what they call 'downsizing' Stateside.

The V6 is still good for 415bhp and a rumoured 0-60mph time of just over five seconds. And that's running on ethanol.
