We quite regularly like a tuned Corvette here at Top Gear, and this one from Loma Performance seems to be the best one yet.
But what really puts it top of the list is its name: the BlackforceOne.
You can’t go wrong with a car that has a name like that.
BlackforceOne. It sounds like a crack squad of ninja assassins.
Anyway, under its awesome bodykit, that's guaranteed to worry grannies, is the base C6 engine, but tweaked with a pair of turbo-chargers to crank the power up to 783bhp.
All of Loma's fiddling sees the BlackforceOne from 0-62mph in a mere 3.4 seconds, and it tops out at 205mph. Which is probably when the machine guns pop out of the wheel arches as it sucks all the joy from the world into its evil heart.
Er... The BlackforceOne will be limited to just 25 examples, and Loma will unveil it at the Essen Motor Show.

So with about 140bhp MORE than a ZR1, it goes exactly as fast as a ZR1? Except with 780bhp it will be impossible to drive fast? Money well spent, lads. You could've at least painted it.

i agree with Mikeado its preformence is exactly the same as a ZR1 but its slower to 60, ZR1 can manage it in 3.0 i think

This car looks exciting, even when it is painted matt grey. Its a shame the wing mirror looks like a hoover attachment.

Every time someone mentions Corvettes, I have to think of that song 'baby got back' (Sir Mixalot version). I like its shape, almost looks mean XD

I worked at a place that cut the roof off of the Z06 and messed about with the rest and this is much better.

Not a very subtle interpretation of the Mercedes SL Black body kit, even managed to get the Black reference in the name. I'd rather have a ZR 1 please.

Not as bad as t though to be honest. I'm not a fan of the colour, it's just a no, but apart from that i dopnt see much wrong with it. Obviously it's American so plastic and so on are present.however adding two turbos to a already powerfull engine is cool. I dont car that it looks like a purple potato smoothie and that I'll never see it cuz of the limiter run. All i care about is that it is immensly powerfull and it's still a 'Vette.

Loma, in Finnish, means "vacation". Not exactly sporty, is it? And just imagine someone, preferably a woman, ask what sort of a car you have. I bet you any money you will say it's a Corvette, not a BlackforceOne. The name is just too embarrassing.

I like the colour, though with a name like that it should be matte black, obviously. But I'd get the car for it's name alone. I'm driving a BlackforceOne. How cool is that? Sorry, that's the 5 year old in me talking, but who cares? The car unashamedly celebrates its vulgarity, which is great. And AlKim: Would you really tell a woman that you drive a 'vette? Yeah, thought so.
