Put Gulf Racing stripes on anything and it'll look cool (proven by a TopGear trip to Le Mans last year where one of the highlights was a hilarious blue and orange Rover Metro), but when it's a McLaren MP4 we're definitely talking sub-zero.
These are the renderings of a digital artist called Jon Sibal. He's created his own vision of a race version of McLaren's new supercar and then given us eight different paint variations to ogle at.
And since we're in the realms of fantasy, do you want one of these or Aston's LMP1? Or that Metro?

All the paint schemes are ones originally used on the McLaren F1 GTR. Back in the 90's Gulf tried a darker color, that's why it looks like it does.

I love all of them, but if I had to choose, Stealth Black for me, please, with red/green headlights.

Yes I echo the comments made by Dead-Eye. Could he have been any less original? And the blue on the old McLaren F1 GTR Gulf sponsored one was as dark as this! Does no one working for Top Gear now actually have a memory?
