When you get a break from googling ‘Megan Fox vs Sienna Miller in wrestling scrap', may we suggest you give the new McLaren MP4-12C website some screen time. It's really rather cool.
The site is live now, and is a techfest on a similar scale to the car itself. The first thing you'll notice - unless you take your own unique path through the ether - is the homepage, which features an exploded view of the car and all its parts. That's ‘exploded' in a very neat and tidy way, so you can make out each little bit and how it fits to that carbon fibre tub.
There are galleries and mini animations and even a blog from a McLaren ‘insider'. There's a car configurator in development too, for those people devoted enough to actually have the MP4-12C on their shopping list. For the rest of us, it'll just be fun to see what it looks like in pink, with a mauve racing stripe.
And as the car won't be in showrooms until 2011, the new site is just about the only way to see it until then.
Thanks to a bloke called Jeroen from the Netherlands, you can catch an aural and visual glimpse of the MP4-12C on the move at the ’Ring, simply by watching this...

not a very reassuring thing for those wanting to buy one..but who am i to comment.pity,but i have nowhere near as much money to buy one.

I wasn't actually Googling stuff about Sienna & Megan... I will now though! great idea! ontopic: Yes it is rather cool... :D I'm depending on you topgear, test that mclaren! and while you do that, get a hold of the old one and put that one around the track, would seriously pay! to see that..
