A Mini Orchestra

Mini teams up with London Philharmonic for an Olympic performance…

In an attempt to capture us Brits' ever-mounting Olympic fervor, Mini's teamed up with the London Philharmonic Orchestra to create a version of the national anthem using nothing but the horns of nine London 2012 Edition Minis.

Only (you guessed it...) 2012 of these, erm, special Minis will be sold. For a hefty near-£3k premium (at least in Cooper spec'), the hatches get Olympic logos stitched into the seats and the London skyline etched into the dashboard. Your very own member of the London Philharmonic is an optional extra...

As impressive as Mini's effort is - we suspect Her Maj. would rather stick to the original, thanks.
