Style your own Stang
If you're into walnut dashboards and oversized mudflaps, you're on the wrong website. Sorry.
If, like us, you enjoy racing stripes and chunky bumpers, you're in exactly the right place. And you will undoubtedly like Ford's new configurator for the 2010 Mustang - possibly the coolest we've ever seen.
Rather than scrolling through endless trim options (off-grey dash lining, cream seat stitching, a thin strip of chrome bumper moulding, blah, blah, blah), this one lets you go mental with all sorts of lairy options. Fancy a pink paintjob with silver wheels and a big fat snake on your bonnet? Go for it, dude.
You can even choose the level of smokiness for your burnout, the amount of mud you want splattered over your car and even what sort of graffiti you want plastered over your gritty urban backdrop.
Once you've created your masterpiece, you can save it to Ford's gallery, then rate everyone else's, which have all resulted in varying degrees of vulgarity...

thats a good idea. but i would love one of those car websites to have an option to build a car and then you end up with all these parts engines etc and you can build whatever sort of car you want no matter how rediculos it looks. it would pass the time

I thought you were joking in the penultinate paragraph. This is epic! It's not as useful or sophisticated as Porsche's, but it's way cooler and more fun. I think that reflects on the cars very well, actually.
