The new issue of Top Gear magazine is out today, and it’s a proper cracker, even if we do say so ourselves. Which we do.

Our main act sees Jeremy taking the new Ford Focus RS for a proper thrashing in an attempt to discover his inner chav. In a 300bhp hot hatch, suffice to say it doesn’t take long.

In other news, Tom Ford tries to beat The Stig in a race to the top of a French mountain (the damn crazy fool), while we discover the full heart-rending story behind the restoration of Oliver, Hammond’s rusty Botswana Opel Kadett.

Oh, and we’ve driven the new V10-engined Audi R8. And the new Jaguar XKR. And a fifty-year-old Ford Anglia up the fifty-year-old part of the M6, for reasons that made sense at the time but seem a little hazy now.
