Unless your finger's estranged from The Pulse, you'll know that this year brings the Olympic and Paralympic Games to London. And it looks like the square peg of lots of people entering the round hole of London will have a miserable impact on our road network.
But it's all going to be OK, because the Mayor, Department for Transport, Highways Agency and TFL have rolled out an £8.8m CAMPAIGN. It's called Get Ahead of the Games and it involves this website, which boasts an interactive map showing you where, when and how much the capital's road network will be affected during the Games.
After some extensive minutes of research, we can report that everywhere will be broken constantly. Especially on Saturday July 28. According to the site journey times will be up to 54 minutes longer should you brave a full North London/South London traverse.
Which has given us a wonderful idea for a game: what's the longest travel delay you can find?
Click on the Get Ahead of the Games website to play then answer in the handy box below. The prize for the greatest interruption is, as ever, ONE INTERNET POINT (non-transferable, entirely meaningless and of no financial value).
Who can get the best, TopGear.communists?
