Soul Ham: Kia-n't touch this

Kia gives rappers some delight as b-boppin’ head-noddin’ hamsters drop lyrics on the Soul. Best. Ad. Ever.

Rapping Hamsters

Rapping hamsters.

There, say it and get it out of the way because it threatens to overshadow any work you will do today, like some form of alien tourette's.

Kia has created, quite simply, a work of hip-hoppin' majesty by presenting the rather funky Soul supermini to a backbeat of rap - and some rhymin' rodents.

Yes, there are references to other cars being like washing machines/cardboard boxes etc, which you may find a bit rich from a company which makes the Carens, Magentis, Sedona...

But we actually quite like the Soul. It has, erm, soul, and let's face it, you can't beat rapping hamsters. Word to tha' woman-wot-gave-you-life.

The buggers had a Teletubby moment. Good for them. The car looks as if it has been designed by teenagers. Good thing too!

I like how the kia bigwigs have obviously noticed their products often being likened to 'white goods' and kitchen appliances, hence the advert trying to claim it's very much different. Is the Soul any good? I haven't read or seen a single road test about it yet. Either journalists have just avoided it because it's a Kia and therefore destined to be crap, or i've accidentally flicked past the page in a TG mag out of involuntary reflex from reading the word 'Kia'.
