A standard Shelby Mustang GT500 pumps out around 550bhp from a supercharged 5.4-litre V8.
However, information gleaned from the Internet reveals the one in this video to be pushing somewhere close to 800bhp.
Watch as it makes a gallant dash to the redline while strapped to a dyno. Then something small, significant and paramount to the construction of the engine like, totally explodes. Men in Vests come and investigate via the medium of staring at the engine bay.
You will want to see this as LOTS OF FIRE shoots out of the engine.

A perfect example of an over-tuned engine blowing up in the classical way

I love the way you hear one man go 'Fire!', and the other man just goes 'yeah' Not too big of a problem then, expensive 800bhp monster on fire, meh

That is the problem with steroid use. You never know when they f**k you up. This Mustang is pumped with loads of them. The side effects are clear for all to see. Reminds me of last year's and this year Flame death - Ferraris and Lambos held illegal bonfires similar to the California wild fires. It is an epidemic and it seems only German and Japanese cars are immune to the fire bug. My wife's Boss's niece's City Rover was parked next to their work place and it decided to torch itself. City Rover is not a supercar but strange things happen at times.
