If an overwhelming sense of misery and despair afflicted you following your exit from last year's SEMA modified show, fear not: the Stasis-tuned R8 is now available in the UK.
Award-winning US tuner Stasis poured into the Audi R8 a potent mix of Gummy Bear Juice and supercharger: the V10 now gets force-fed air via an Eaton/Magnusson TVS ‘charger running 7.5psi of boost with a billet alloy machined intake plenum.

There's also a TIG-welded stainless steel exhaust, Alcon brakes, lowered springs and ultra-lightweight forged aluminium 20in alloy wheels.
The result of their toiling is thus: 710bhp, 523lb ft of torque and 0-62mph in 3.1 seconds versus 525bhp/391lb ft and 3.7secs for the standard car. And all for just £45,000 (on top of your Audi R8 V10, of course). You wants it.

am i the only person who thinks the Audi r8 spyder doesn't look as good as the normal version ...i'm not saying its ugly, but there are better looking convertibles on the market, like the Reventon and Pagani Zonda F, and the BMW z4, i know alot of people think the r8 is the best car ever , well most of manchester united do but for a supercar id have either a Aston DBS or a Lamborghini gallardo.

for that money, give me an Alfa 8C Spider. and the 45,000 can go to keeping it on the road for a whole week!

Cloned copycat. Makes no sense. For that money you could buy a car that has heritage. What is R8? Amzing car but no ingenuity there. Even peugeot could do the same. Peugeot could pick up a Ferrari engine, chuck it in the RCZ, tune it and call it 5050, with a peugeot badge slapped on it., Cheap engineering. Get Scirocco instead which is a pure VW breed, put the rest in gardening and have BBQ of a full cow with the rest of the money.
