Video: the Subaru BRZ GT300

You like it, we like it, Subaru likes it. Footage of wide-arched racer revealed

Michaelangelo once remarked that "genius is eternal patience"; if we take this token as gospel, petrolheads now have a cerebral capacity rivalling Einstein, such was the wait for the Subaru BRZ.

But now it has finally dropped. We've driven it, and it is good. And just when our synapses were being swaddled in the Subaru's minimalist brilliance, we were hit with a BRZ in racing uniform. It is the Subaru BRZ GT300, and it looks smashing.

This BRZ GT300 will take over duties from the Legacy racer that did the business in the Super GT series this year, and will pack a restricted 300bhp (hence the name).

But that's next year. For now, why not enjoy this little video Subaru has knocked up, and let us know whether you're tempted by the standard BRZ...

Now share it...
