Well strike us down and call us Geoffrey - we've gone and won another award for being factual. This time, TV Choice readers gave us the gong for "Best Factual Entertainment Show". Which, for some reason, brings this clip to mind.
Top Gear's Executive Producer, Andy Wilman, says: "Without doubt this achievement is the very of the tip of the absolute peak of the crowning pinnacle of a glorious Summer for British endeavour. I mean, fair enough our Olympians and Tour de France cyclists and Andy Murray have put on a good show, but this is where it's at."
Other winners included Benedict Cumberbatch, who won Best Actor for Sherlock, Miranda Hart, who won Best Actress for Call The Midwife, Celebrity Juice for Best Entertainment Show, Britain's Got Talent for Best Talent Show and EastEnders won Best Soap.
