We know, we know. There's a whole bunch of you just sitting at home thinking, 'So that's £294,000 in the loose change jar. Do I have enough cash saved up to finally get me one of those Veritas RSIII thingies?'
Now we've got the answer, and that answer is... no. You need another grand. Veritas has announced the price of its crazy, missile-like speedster, and that price is £295,000.
That is, admittedly, quite a lot of cash. Then again, you do get a 5.0-litre BMW-sourced V10 putting out 500bhp (a 620bhp RSIII is rumoured to be in the works, presumably with a commensurately higher price tag). And exclusivity: Veritas will build just 30 speedsters.
But if that last £1,000 is beyond you, you'll just have to make do with this new photo that Veritas has sent over to us - a photo shoot for which, it would seem, they brought Black Stig back from beyond the grave.
Oh, and watch Hammond mullering the RSIII around our test track. Keep up the good work, Veritas... but steer clear of the that rumoured SUV, OK?

What an awful looking car... if I had a spare £295,000 lying around I think I'd get the new 458 Italia and a Lamborghini Gallardo! And if I already had those cars, I'd buy a handful of Caterhams, get a group of friends together, hire Silverstone for a week and have some fun!
