Brake tests are a fundamental part of deciding whether a vehicle is good enough to go on sale. We know about this stuff, we had to do it when testing The Hammerhead Eagle i-Thrust – which passed with flying colours.
But the same can't be said for the military vehicle in the video below.
We believe the truck in question is an ILAV, not Apple's attempt at peacekeeping transportation, but a Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicle that wouldn't look out of place in the military toy box that the boys visited in series 17.
What you'll see is the 15-tonne armoured truck doing two emergency stops from 60mph. The first one, after a bit of hopping from the rear axle, was a pass. The second attempt wasn't. Click on to see why...
