BMW M4 Coupe - the production car
So, the new M4 - and its M3 saloon counterpart - will now feature a new engine, M Division binning the 4.0-litre, 414bhp V8 and instead fitting a 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged straight-six with 431bhp, 406lb ft (a whopping 111lb ft more than before), and a 7,600rpm redline.
The boring bits are that it's more efficient and less harmful to the planet than before. The exciting bits are that it'll go from 0-62mph in 4.1 seconds (with the optional DCT automatic gearbox, top out at 155mph and come with a Smokey Burnout function. Yep, the new cars are hooligans.
There is lots of carbon fibre, lots of M Sport stuff, and a price tag of just over £56k.
