"We decided and undecided to do this three times," he says of today's festivities. "I wanted to do something round the idea of the ‘magnificent seven'. I wanted my cars to achieve a certain notoriety. In a way, it's not just a collection of cars driving through the English countryside, it's almost an artistic statement. We didn't have a clue whether it was risky or stupid or even dangerous, we just committed to it, like we used to do in the old days."
