What’s the fastest Ferrari at Fiorano?

Time for some useless but interesting pub ammunition: Ferrari lap times

Posted: 02 Mar 2012

A conservative estimate would suggest that at least 95 per cent of your entire being wants the new Ferrari F12 Berlinetta. Four per cent wants other extraneous stuff like ‘food' and ‘shelter'. The remaining one per cent wants to watch skateboarding dogs on the Internet.

After all, how else are your impulses supposed to react when faced with a 6.3-litre V12 producing 730bhp and 509lb ft of torque, and performance figures of 0-62mph in 3.1 seconds, 0-124mph in 8.5 seconds and a top speed of 211mph?

In fact, Ferrari tells us the new F12 Berlinetta has lapped its private test circuit - Fiorano - in just... well, that'd be telling, wouldn't it?

Suffice to say, it's ruddy fast. And to see how it stacks up, here is a list of Ferrari lap times around Fiorano, including lots of rather special machinery like the Enzo, F430 and even the Testarossa...

Now share it
