Keeping it fresh will be BMW, presenting the i8 supercar and of course, the new BMW M3 saloon and M4 Coupe. The new Mini John Cooper Works Concept will be on display for the first time in the UK too, while Mini will celebrate the 50th anniversary of Paddy Hopkirk winning the '64 Monte Carlo rally in a Cooper. Paddy will be on the stand, too.
In fact, speaking at the FoS launch event held at Bonhams (where you can expect some fine metal to be auctioned off), Paddy said: "We didn't expect to win the event - we really didn't think we could beat the more powerful cars." It was a huge boost for him that made the 1960s a brilliant decade for him, in more ways than just motorsport. "I'm surprised I'm still here," he grinned.
