Goodwood Festival of Speed: preview
Benz to celebrate 120 years in motorsport, and Loeb's going for the hillclimb record in his Peugeot T16...
Posted: 21 Mar 2014
Peugeot will unleash its 208 T16 racer - the one that obliterated last year's Pikes Peak race - with Sebastien Loeb behind the wheel for an attempt to break Nick Heidfeld's hillclimb record of 41.6 seconds (which he set in a McLaren MP4-13 way back in 1999). Expect fireworks. And noise.
Oh, and Lord March also confirmed that the time trial will return to Goodwood, with the 'fastest of the fast' supercars running a shootout on Saturday afternoon. This will be one to watch.
