TG drives Maserati’s GranCabrio
Maserati's GranCabrio is more than a match for the beauties of Rome. Well, apart from the women...

The real revelation is the car's structural integrity, and its behaviour backs up Maserati's claims for best-in-class torsional rigidity. Only the really bad stuff - the kind of surface-scars that would derail a Rolls Phantom - elicits a noticeable shimmy from the windscreen and elsewhere. The chassis reinforcements, which include a cross beam and extra beefy material in the doors and windscreen surround, are very effective.
