The weird thing is that the recipe to achieve such flawless perfection is so simple. The suspension is good, but nothing ground-breaking; the four-pot, 1,600cc engine makes a respectable 108bhp, but, again, it's a long way from being a contemporary Veyron.
The body is steel, the 13-inch wheels wear skinny 175 boots. The rubber spoiler on the back reduces lift by 30kg at a reasonable 100mph. It gets to 60mph smartly in nine seconds.
