So, it was down from Marrakech, left a bit, right a bit, across a bit and straight for a while, until we found ourselves at the bottom of the Tizi N'Test pass, a wiggly bit of notation across the Atlas up towards Tanefacht and Tazedout. It doesn't look like much from the map. And yet the little squiggle delights in giving an almost completely false sense of security. The early part of the pass is actually miles of not-quite-switchbacks that you can almost straight-line run, feeling the suspension soak and work at the hefty camber.
