PH Every generation of car grows up as people want more from it. You end up with designers giving the customers what they want. Like a bigger boot.
JM But those requests can be idiotic. Who fills the whole boot of a small car anyway? If boot-room is what you need, you should've bought a bigger car.
PH Exactly. It's like buying a piano and moaning that it doesn't sound enough like a trumpet. And anyway, I'd rather have four fewer inches in length than an extra 10 decimetres cubed in the boot, because I parallel park every time I go out. And the Up's more parkable. And lighter. And more economical. And is it really necessary for the Panda to be so tall?
