James thrashes new Fiesta and Polo

If you read twin tests the way I do, you'll almost certainly click to the end to see which car has won, and then perhaps go back to find out why. Unless you disagree with the verdict or you own the loser, in which case you'll shut down TopGear.com and go back to reading Nuts or Classic Bike. That's what I do.
So I'll tell you now (although you won't read this if you're starting from the back, obviously) that the Fiesta is the better car here. It's better for all sorts of reasons, from the superior size of its boot to its composure over mid-bend ruts and including the shape of its steering wheel. It just is, and if you want proper car-buying advice based on empirical assessment, buy the Fiesta. The new Fiesta is a genuinely great car.
I'd have the Polo.
