Last Lambo Murcielago rolls off the line
Wondering what that noise is? That, friends, is the sound of a rotund, overweight female warbling her chubby guts out. It's over: the last ever Lamborghini Murcielago has rolled off the production line, and the fat lady has sung.
The ten-year reign of the cartoon supercar officially came to an end in Sant 'Agata on 5 November, as production number 4,099 - an orange Murcielago SV - rolled out of the gates and to its new home in the custody of somebody Swiss.
Lamborghini made a mighty song and dance, and provided a selection of their most potent V12 supercars to accompany the orange SV out of the gates for its 'last ride', including a 350 GT, Miura, Countach and Diablo.
In salutation, we've cobbled together some pictures for you to ogle, and ogle them you must. Even as the last Murci wakes into life, Lamborghini is preparing for its 'successor, a new automotive legend'...
