Just back from scrutineering and been given the three-inch thick roadbook for the Mille Miglia. Now quite scared. It's also raining hard enough to drown ducks, and we've made a pact in my XK120 to run the race with the roof down all the way. I am now very much regretting the bravado. Still, have just bought a rather lovely Mille helmet. And will now look daft as well as lost...
