Mini Countryman: driven

The car we had, the Cooper S, was equipped with the ALL4 four-wheel-drive option. The set-up is 100% front-wheel drive with power sent to the rears when traction is lost. This means natural understeer but with lots of grip when required. Combine all this with Mini's 184bhp, 1.6-litre engine and the Countryman is definitely still fun, still possessed of Mini's core dynamic DNA.
