Porsche 908: not crashed

But the single most amazing thing about the 908 is how easily it treats you. Obviously, I wasn't going very fast today. I'd call it more of a slow trot. Derek Bell lit his rear tyres up as he drove away - I drew away slower than I would in the supermarket car park. But the clutch isn't very savage, the brakes react smoothly, the steering is light and direct - it gave the impression that you'd have to be going seriously quickly for it to become a real handful. Still, I was mighty relieved to cross the finishing line in one piece. You only get remembered if you crash at Goodwood.
