So a machine like this does need to be treated cordially. There is a thing called an inching pedal, which David introduces us to nice and early. This is there to stop you breaking your head open against the back of the cab when you feather the throttle for the first time. And even that almost fails to do the job.
Nudging and bouncing the Terragator out onto the public highway, the sheer vulnerability of the average motorist becomes horribly apparent. The gearbox bangs up and up and the speed mounts.
