Top Gear goes truck racing
Over 5.5 tonnes, more torque/ton than a Veyron SS and very very good fun. Ollie Marriage reports

It's all sent to the rear wheels, which is problematic when most of the weight needed to press them into the ground - a minimum of 3500kg according to the regs - is over the fronts. And so are you. So far forward that the steering column plunges straight through the floor between your thighs.
It seems as if hard braking'll flip onto its face, but I can assure you it doesn't. No, what happens, especially with a bit of drizzle around, is that the back wheels lock and the thing slews sideways, one way, then the other, eventually, after a fair amount of flailing and panic, coming to a rest not far from a worryingly insubstantial-looking tyre wall.
