Top Gear goes truck racing
Over 5.5 tonnes, more torque/ton than a Veyron SS and very very good fun. Ollie Marriage reports

To be fair, it only did that because I was having a whale of a time and got rather too confident. Yes, the height takes a bit of getting used to, as does the vibration, vast turbo whistle, even vaster turbo kick, water-cooled brakes and perplexing gearbox. But you very quickly realize that the actual way it drives has plenty in common with a normal car. It rolls, it grips, it steers, it responds and it goes round the Bedford Autodrome as fast as a rapid hot hatch. Only trailing so much steam, it's like you're towing a Turkish bath. Which, in theory, you could be.
