As we head out onto the circuit John starts to relay a hitlist of stuff that he thinks needs sorting. This very early car is basically being shipped as a kind of work-in-progress and Hennessey is aware that the car needs a fair bit of development. The customer taking delivery is so keen to have the first Venom in the world that he's going to be acting as a kind of development engineer-cum-test pilot. The rear air brake is non-functioning so far - eventually that wing on the back will operate much like a Veyron's, altering angles of attack to aid stability. The gearbox also needs a shortened throw installing, the brakes need the pedal firming up, the electric steering needs some response finalising. The list goes on. Unfortunately, I'm not listening.
