Series 20 2013
The one with New Zealand race
Jeremy and James head to New Zealand to take part in a race along the coastline to the tip of the North Island - with one behind the wheel of a hire car and the other in a America's Cup yacht. Back in the UK, Richard Hammond tries out three hot hatches as he puts the Renaultsport Clio 200, Peugeot 208 GTi and Ford Fiesta ST through their paces, and a host of stars including Warwick Davis, Charles Dance and Joss Stone assemble at the test track to welcome a new Reasonably Priced Car.
The one with The one with... the fastest Ferrari ever
Clarkson gets behind the wheel of the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta, sampling the punch of its 730bhp V12 engine on the open roads of Scotland. Hammond harnesses the power of motorsport on a quest to find the world's best taxi, and May pays tribute to the former BBC Television Centre in White City, London, using a motorcyclist and a pair of Parkour runners. Plus, the BAC Mono is put through its paces on the test track, and film director Ron Howard goes for a spin in the new Reasonably Priced Car.
The one with The one with... the budget supercars across Spain
All three presenters head to Spain in three budget supercars on a mission to help its struggling economy. Jeremy takes a McLaren MP4-12C, Hammond a Ferrari 458 and James an Audi R8 V10. The trio encounters mountain passes, empty towns and an abandoned airport before creating their own street circuit in a deserted Madrid development. Plus, Sherlock and Star Trek Into Darkness star Benedict Cumberbatch sets a lap time in the Reasonably Priced Car.
The one with The one with... the Hovervan
Jeremy, Richard and James embark on a project to build a car that can turn into a hovercraft and bring relief to flooded areas of Britain. Their efforts don't start smoothly, but it's not long before the trio is demonstrating the brilliance of their creation with an eventful journey down the River Avon. Plus, Jeremy grabs the keys to two variants of the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG supercar - the V8-engined Black Series with a roaring 622bhp, and the 740bhp Electric Drive, which is powered by four electric motors. X-Men and Les Miserables star Hugh Jackman is the latest celebrity to take the new Reasonably Priced Car around the test track.
The one with The one with... the crossover challenge
Jeremy and James take a look at increasingly popular crossovers. Having concluded their primary appeal is to caravanners, the duo spend a couple of days in a Mazda CX-5 and Volkswagen Tiguan to get a feel for life as potential buyers. Meanwhile, Richard Hammond drives a pair of exciting Lamborghinis in Italy - the ferocious Aventador Roadster and the limited-edition Sesto Elemento, which carries an eye-watering price tag of around £2million. Two cars are also put through their paces on the test track, with James in a modern re-creation of the classic Porsche 911 and Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler in the rather less exotic Reasonably Priced Car.
The one with The one with... the best of British parade
Clarkson drives the Jaguar F-Type sports car on some of Britain's finest roads. Richard Hammond jumps inside the new Range Rover Sport and gives it a thorough workout off-road, on a track and in what he believes is its most natural habitat - the lanes of Cheshire. Meanwhile, James May goes for a countryside adventure in the New Bus for London, which is propelled by a turbo diesel generator and powerful electric motor. Inspired by the machines they have tested, the trio then meets to celebrate Britain's motor industry with an epic grand finale in front of Buckingham Palace.
