I have a pre face lift 03 reg 166 which I had for the princely sum of £1800! It had 94k on the clock but I've owned it a year and it has been trouble free. It is a gorgeous car to drive and although not the most economical, more than makes up for in style and comfort (especially the heated seats and climate control). I love it also for it's rarity, I've only seen about 5 on the road since I've had it and am so besotted with it I don't think I could consider anything but another Alfa after this one. If you want a fabulous car for not much money I highly recommend the 166.
