I live in America and this looks like its gonna suck. Those guys clearly have no chemistry. You can't just throw guys who like cars into a show. Top Gear works because its believable and feels like you say what you mean (even if its scripted). This is the only show in the world that say which cars they hate as well as love. Just bring the real show with Clarkson, Hammond, and May to America. I'm getting sick and tired (and poor) of having to go to the UK every time I wanna see the new season.

There's only 1 Top Gear , and that's UK !!! ...because Europe's got the flavour , biaaa'ch ! HAHAHA

1) did Top Gear season 1 have chemistry? Not exactly, remember James didn't come in till 2, and still it took a season for him to find his place. 2) BBC is making money with the American show to fund all Top Gear, so don't worry, it's just a cash cow. 3) Most Americans wouldn't get what Jeremy, James and Richard are about, beside Jeremy's disdain of Americans wouldn't fly. Look Robbie Williams couldn't make it in the USA because they don't understand him. Besides Peirs Morgan is all over the place. We don't want Jeremy arrested now do we? 4) It's going to have an American spin, and yes, many motor geeks have beards. It's going to take time for them to relax and feel at ease. But the landscape and use of the cars are what we need to watch.

You guys are too quick to judge this group. Truthfully, it is a different animal all together. It's new and fresh with a whole new platform to work with. As an American Citizen I'm excited about seeing cars that I can actually go to a dealership and drool over. No, they may not have that same British dry humor to go along with the show, but it will be interesting. And I can promise you that these guys can drive.

The try so hard to be Richard, James and Jeremy. They fail.

Not so sure about the presenters, but having a Lambo do donuts in a bullfighting ring is a pretty good start. You have big shoes to fill fellas, good luck..!

Why not more Top Gear?? Yes I like the UK version more than any show, but am a car fan and anything Top Gear. More Top Gear is not a bad thing. Adam from Rescue Me is a riot and will be a good fit for the US version. Have you ever watched him in Rescue Me. He is a riot. He will bring comedy to Top Gear that the other show has. Tanner is a great driver and good presenter. I don't know anything about Rutledge, but I am excited that we will be able to watch the USA version and then the UK version. Give this show a chance before you bash it. You have to actually watch it to be able to criticize it.
