Very interesting, I look forward to seeing the entire lap. He looked a little frustrated with his performance.

After watching this clip of Matt Smith drive 'round the test track, I'm so glad that the writers of Doctor Who and not Matt himself drive the TARDIS! A suggestion: have all drivers lap the track the first time in an unhurried, unhastened way to learn the track; then, with each sucessive lap, increase speed. They'll do so much better if they take it slow to begin with, and gradually add speed when they find out how the car behaves with each increase in speed on each lap, rather than try to go all-out around a track they've never been on before. It'll avoid so many spin-outs, and won't necessitate the track crew replanting the fields or the mechanics pulling out grass and mud from the undercarriage. At least, be thankful Matt's not a chauffer. Yet. (insert witty but annoying tag-line here)
