Hi there. You know how the Avantime went round the track SLOWER once new Big brakes, and the new bigger wheels and new grippy tyres went on? Well, big brakes are heavy. And that those new wheels you put on it will definately be heavier than the stock wheels, due to there being a bigger, heavier mass of metal over the stock wheels. So in the light of this, it would probably have done better to have just put better tyres on the original wheels, and kept the original brakes on. Also, the smaller diameter of the original wheels, meant that the car had a bit more cushioning, due to having larger profile tryes. A tyres profile measurement, acts as part of the suspension damping. I think you should have started with the engine service, then added suspension upgrade, then swapped front seats for lighter seats, left the heavy rear seats in, and then put the splitter on it.

they almost got it, the right way to do it should be: reduce weight, suspension, brakes, wheels and tires, and power (probably if they made this sequence, they could spent more in a turbo or supercharger kit), and with luck, beeing just a few seconds slower than the evo X

I think that the first thing they ought to do is to put stiff sunspension and remove all the luxury interior stuffs (seats,plastics,air-conditioning,radio etc...),also they ought to put stuffs to make the hole chassi stiff .After that they ought to put completely slic tires (whithout any stripes) and before starting any time attack they ought to have the tires heated (other the slic tires doesn't work and you can see it in the video).I also think that the brakes don't need because its not enough fast yet to need better brakes.So they ought now to put some power on it,the better thing they had to do is to put new air filer (wich they done) wich it ought to be made of gauze not the common paper filter wich needs change after a wile.The second thing is the spray-gasbeks and the exhaust. Third thing , racing gas, chip upgrate and stroke-tuning. After power i think that now its time for the brakes (brembo cost the same and are better).Ather stuff , aerodynamics , they ought to put that

splinter but also needed the same thing on the sides.
