1:12 - isn't that a digital speedo on the left, on the bottom of the screen?

Yes, it is. At no time (ever) is there NOT a speedometer visible on the dashboard of the 458. Jeremy initially made a mistake, but it was a mistake that sounded good and was a tad funny, so he ran with it. Whether or not he realizes he made a mistake? I don't think he has. In a new article written by him he mentions the lack of speedometer again, so either he refuses to admit he's wrong because it's somewhat comical for those who don't know the truth, or he genuinely still doesn't realize that he was mistaken. Typical, really.

So if you know how fast you are going - you don't know where you are and if you know where you are - you can't tell how fast you are going. Didn't Professor Heisenberg figure that out a long time ago?
