I want to report this comment for:

hey he's very good at the PS2 it was really hard for me to get a 1:38 and he didnt even used traction control :P. Who thinks the stig would get close to 1:41 on the real track? i doubt that the game just isnt as realistic as it looks...

They ought to try Laguna Seca on Forza (3, preferably). But hey, he doesn't even have a manual gearbox on the PS2.

My biggest grind about this video is always that he used an NSX Type-R on GT4 and a softer, heavier Acura NSX in real life. That's already a second or two of a disadvantage. Otherwise, he's right to say that you don't feel the track on your sofa and have no physical sensation of speed. The car reacts exactly as it should, but with no impending doom, you'll always be faster behind the wheel of a Logitech than the wheel of a car. Even top racing drivers can only get close, not beat virtual times, and on much more powerful simulators than a 9-year-old PlayStation 2. P.S. I flattened his (Gran Turismo) laptimes using no driver aids :-P But then I have been playing GT games since I was 7.

I want to report this comment for:

The 16 seconds difference. I suspect it's the more complex controls of a car and the greater range and condition change of seeing to react to.

The Cayman isn’t the Porsche to get if you can’t afford a 911. Oh no. It’s so much better than that…
