Yes, an excellent effort from Mr.Trousers/Square Flat-Top Hair-Style. Well done, Mr.Cowell. I have 2 further comments, questions... 1. In a first class programme that prides itself on being competitive and fun, why hasn't The Stig ever done a lap for the show, in the "reasonably-priced" car? 2. I know that I would be high on the leader-board if the bbc let me do the above lap - I've been driving 24 years, still drive fast, safe and sporty and have driven a much-varied range of cars from a 2CV to a BMW 5 series.

i could get round the track quicker than that.I don't underdtand why all these celebs go and do this and all of them end up crashing or spinning at some point ,because they've over cooked it.that's because there utterly useless. And mr clarkson should let james and richard drive the reasonably price car.

Simon really is a talented driver. I've only seen him on American tv and always thought him an ass, but on the track and at Top Gear he seems like a real person...pretty much. Love the show! Keep up the good work!
