Gee, if you drove Interstate 80 instead, you'd be even more bored. You would have to drive Hwy. 50, which is nicknamed the loneliest highway in America. At least the drive looked more interesting than I-80. Did the drive last summer with my husband and 2 kids from S.F. to Wyoming and back. Did the waitress offer you gravy with your deep fried lard? Next time you come to the U.S, try the Monta-bahn (the nickname for the highways in Montana), the only state in the U.S. to repeal a state speed limit. American Corvette Club holds their annual meeting in Montana.

US 50 - it's not called "The loneliest highway in America" for nothing. I used to drive the route a lot, and I drive it at least once a year now. I grew up in Ely, and attended college in Reno - so I drove back home a few times on that route. It's absolutely true - it's quite boring. BTW, Ely is the town where the guys stopped in for a "Light Breakfast", and believe me, nothing's too light at The Silver State Restaraunt. Been a fan of the show for a while - and who'd believe there was a fan of Top Gear who lives in that little town way out in the middle of nowhere!

The Silver State isn't a bad Restaraunt, I lived about an hour or so from Ely, in even a more remote part, on Highway 50, and it is a very desolate route! But fun to drive in the right car, it's just annoying because cops come out of nowhere!

Better than the old GS and a properly interesting choice. But for over £70k? You’d have to be barking
